It is recommended to make an appointment for your child at the age of 3.
The first visit
During this first visit, the dentist and the dental hygienist will make sure to establish a positive relationship with your child and will take the necessary time to examine his/her teeth, do a cleaning, and review with you the proper brushing and flossing techniques.
About 50% of the population experiences some fear of dental treatments. It is important to avoid passing on this fear to your child. Information and a positive attitude will reassure him/her and ensure a positive experience. Your collaboration is important before, during and after the visit.
