According to the Canadian Dental Association, gum disease is the most common dental problem affecting adults. It is an insidious problem because the disease develops slowly, often without pain or symptoms.
Gum disease
The good news is that gum disease can almost always be prevented and is reversible if detected early. On the other hand, if the disease has progressed too far, you risk losing the tooth and having to undertake expensive treatments.
During your dental examination, we take the time to verify the health of your gums and will give you any recommendations you may need. Meet with your dentist and your hygienist regularly and avoid any issues.
