Following the loss of one or more teeth, a dental implant is the solution most frequently recommended by dentists. The reason is very simple: it is the closest thing to a natural tooth.
Implant supported crowns
It is important to quickly replace a lost tooth in order to avoid bone loss. Since the jawbone will no longer be stimulated by mastication, it will lose volume in height and width at the place where the tooth was extracted. Another consequence is that the adjacent teeth are likely to move, causing other problems.
We work closely with a periodontist who places the implant and after a healing period we proceed with the restorative phase at our clinic.
