The Canada Dental Care Plan (CDSP) is a public health system that provides publicly funded dental care to Canadians and permanent residents of Canada.
Covered services include examination visits, x-rays, ivory extracts, dentures, disinfection treatments and oral health care.
Patients have access to these services by paying a partial or full cost, depending on their income and financial situation.
Children and people aged 65 or older generally have access to completely free dental care, while other people can pay a percentage of their treatment costs.
